Words to melt a mommys heart

So I was getting Sarah dressed this morning and was doing her hair. After I get her dressed I was always tell her SO PRETTY and say Sarah is so pretty! This morning she melted my heart when she said- MOMMY Pretty! I could just eat her up!

I played around with the natural light streaming in our side door and took a couple of pics of the kittens- enjoy! They are 5 weeks old now and will soon hopefully be going to other homes. I have enjoyed having them but there is no way we can have 5 cats!

My baby is growing up....

So many things this week have made me want to cry but I guess you would call them good tears.... Its just Katie and Sarah are both growing up so fast. I cant belive that 3.75 yr ago I was giving birth to this tiny baby and now she is reciting the pledge of allegiance to me - and she did so well with it. I was stunned- it was after bath last nite and she started reciting it.





Of course this is the same little girl that on the way home last nite told me - Mommy you are not a good driver. When I asked her why- she replied- cause you drve on the bumpy roads (we were on the highway which they are working on and have rumble strips down)





Earlier this week she brought home a worksheet they had done at school about the letter A and on the back of it- the teacher had wrote the letter A and then there were all these other As that MY BABY had written! Here is the pic. The orange letter is teachers the other blue and brown As are Katies

Hope everyone is having a good one and has a nice weekend planned. Last weekend was so crazy I am actually looking forward to not having anything on the plans this weekend. Here are some new pics of the kitties. They were 3 weeks yesterday. I am pretty sure the 3 orange are all boys and of course the calico is a girl. she has the most unusual markings on her. Enjoy!

KAtie- Yeah, They are mostly in my head- mouth for eating, nose for smelling, eyes for seeing and ears for listening...
